Every Recon Rod is one of one. The builder works directly with the angler to make a functional piece of art for a specific way of fishing. You can arrive with exact parts in mind or only a clear picture of your water.

We consider the blank, handle length and material, reel seat, guide train, wraps, and personalization together. The result should feel right in your hand and make sense on your water.

FROM REQUEST TO RIVER
Review and quote
We confirm the specification and send an itemized quote.
Approval and deposit
Approve the exact build, then pay 50% of the quoted rod total.
Build and handoff
After all parts arrive, I build your rod and arrange final payment and pickup or shipment.
The build takes approximately two full weeks after all components arrive. Vendor delivery times vary and are outside my control. Shipping estimates may change; the final shipping charge is due with the remaining 50% when the rod is complete.
